Here are some places to help Build Your List:
List Auction - free to join, but will cost to upgrade. And it's a lifetime upgrade if you take advantage of the OTO when you
first sign up (if I remember correctly). I really like List Auction. Quick timer on reading emails to get credits, and they
have a great promotional staff. List Auction's a winner.
Downline Builder Direct - a somewhat new kid on the block, but with a very unusual twist well worth exploring: if you're a Diamond
Member, then you can save up to 5 email ads that will be sent out automatically every 2 days, on a rotational basis. Now that
is slick. No more logging on every x days to resend your same ad. PLUS, up to 20,000 mailings every 2 days. And the OTO membership
price for Diamond was very reasonable, considering. This one is well worthwhile checking out.
Mike Filsaime's ListDotCom - free to join but it will cost to upgrade. He uses his own opt-in list for you to send to. Watch for the OTO's, they are
worth it.
List Joe - my other personal favorite. Besides allowing you to send out your marketing message, subscribers and optin members earn
points by landing on your landing page. And they've got to stay there for at least 20 seconds to earn the points. Pretty
cool, actually, once you see it in action. One point = one mailing.
List Jumper - this is the new kid on the block. It launched Nov 24th, 2008, and already had thousands of prelaunchers join.
It's very unique, free to join, and can help you build your list quickly. HINT: take advantage of the OTO
if you can because it is well worth it (if you can afford it). It pays for itself in less than 6 months.
Top Surfer - not a list building site per se, but a surfing site where you build credits by reading emails and looking at recommended
sites. But, they have a GREAT solo email capability that is extremely responsive, and it works. I recommend the wholesale
membership.
I am a member of all of these sites, and they all work to varying degrees. So check them out. But be aware
that, even though they are all free to join, their upgrades will cost, and if you do decide to upgrade, I'll get a referral
fee. Yippee!

Ones I've tried and dropped, for one reason or another.
Business World List - free to join, relatively cheap to upgrade. The free membership allows you to mass email to 200 optins every 48 hours, but
the upgraded pro membership allow you to mail to their entire database (~72,200 and growing) evey 48 hours. For only $12.95
a month, that's a hellava deal. Just make sure you've got good copy, because there are no wait timers or points credited.
In other words, no incentives for those receiving your message (See List Joe and Top Surfer below), so they gotta wanna go
to your site.
List Bandit - Gary Ambrose's venture into the list building arena. He's uses a matrix concept to build your membership list. The ONLY
List-Builder That Builds Not One, But Three Profitable Lists - Simultaneously and Automatically!
Free Ads Depot - the brainchild of master marketers Jane Mark and Phil Basten. Earn credits by reading emails and clicking on a special
link. As a free member, you can then use these credits for banner ads, text ads, etc. As a paid member, you can also exchange
credits for mailing to a random database of members equal to the credits you have available.
